The Art Studios
Marymount boasts two complete art studios, one on the Lower Campus and the other in newly built Pollock Hall. The art studios at Marymount are "user-friendly" environments where students create art daily. Completely stocked supply tables are set up in the middle of the rooms for each artist's personal use. Students are free to circulate around these areas to get the supplies they need to work, facilitating more control over their creative work process. There are drying racks for wet paintings and large shelving structures to hold works-in-progress. Both studios have picture windows to allow plenty of natural lighting to flood the rooms. Marymount has a deluxe lithography/printing press and a kiln.
