Let’s start your summer off right! Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. This week we are going to explore mindfulness and self-care through the practice of yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, books and more. The students will get to explore making their own calming essential oil blends, stress balls, gratitude journals, peace cups and other self-soothing crafts.
